Improving Social Skills of Elementary School Students by Using Umma Kalada's Indigenous Knowledge on Social Studies Topics

Students show non-cooperative attitudes, ridicule each other among students, do not listen to in group work and queue collect assignments. It is what underlies this research. The local wisdom of the Umma Kalada, indigenous people Loura, contains value social skills as a guide help students who are still weak developing relationships with others. In order improve Class IVa SDK (Catholic Elementary School) through applying Kalada values. This study aims analyze Kalada's wisdom. research design used was qualitative using collection action method developed by Kemmis Taggart. Action conducted three cycles. Data techniques non-test tests form observation, learning achievement interviews. collected data described, conclusions drawn. results found that studies subjects IV able student outcomes terms knowledge, attitudes skills.
